Piano Lessons

How to learn piano?

Self-dedication under the guidance of a professional tutor is the best way to learn piano. Piano proficiency is more involved than just learning piano chords, notes and scales. Although online tutorials are available to assist, correct piano “touch”, for example, can only be properly learned through one-on-one private tuition.

How long does it take to learn piano?

As with most subjects, the time it takes to learn to play the piano is a product of self-dedication and discipline. Private tuition with an experienced professional pianist provides students with the necessary tools to learn, but regular practice is fundamental.

What is the best age to begin learning?

Sheelagh has a wealth of experience in teaching both kids and adults alike, from beginner level to advanced. Age is no barrier: learning piano as an adult is the same process as for children: practice makes perfect, and Sheelagh has tutored many successful pianists who started to learn at a later stage in life.
